Aviva Stadium is accessible by a selection of public transport routes including a DART stop right at the Stadium. Should you need to drive, we do provide limited first come first serve parking for meetings and events attendees only. Please note where your event is being held and follow relevant car parking signage. Main car park is located at the entrance off Lansdowne Road.
Aviva Stadium does not have parking for the public on match and concert days however there is accessible parking available for up to 100 vehicles for persons with reduced mobility on a first come first accommodated basis.
There is a 2.1 metre vehicle height restriction on the entry to the parking facility and access is strictly by a dedicated parking pass that must be requested a minimum of 5 working days in advance of an event. The parking passes are distributed to ticket holders only and must be requested from the organisation hosting the match or concert (i.e. the FAI ,IRFU, MCD).
Access to the parking facility closes 2 hours prior to kick off / gates open (concerts) due to road closures implemented by An Garda Síochána and exit from the parking facility will only be permitted once An Garda Síochána have reopened the road to vehicular traffic. Details of approach routes to the parking facility and a map are included on the dedicated parking passes for each event.
The RDS may have parking available at the RDS Simmonscourt on Simmonscourt Road on a first come first served basis during events at Aviva Stadium (15 minute walk). Pembroke Wanderers Hockey Club have car parking facilities/toilets for all major events at Aviva Stadium. They are situated on Serpentine Avenue, opposite the side entrance to AIB Bankcentre just 6 minute walk along the footpath beside the Dart Line. Road Closures for Events
Following a meeting between the Gardai and a number of local residents groups it had been agreed that on a major event days key roads around the stadium will be closed in advance of the start time of the fixture or concert.
The main roads affected are for the duration stated below before kick-off and until the crowds are dispersed post final whistle:
Lansdowne Park – 3 hours
Shelbourne Road – 2 hours
Bath Avenue – 4 hours
Lansdowne Road – 4 hours
London Bridge Road – 4 hours
Newbridge Road – 3 hours
Herbert Road – 3 hours
Tritonville Road Junction – 3 hours
Beatty's Avenue – 2 hours
